Faxing is accomplished by setting the default printer in Microsoft
Windows® to Microsoft Fax (see Setting Fax Option in Windows® below for
instructions). Anything you print in Windows® will now be sent out as a
fax (the instructions below also show you how to set printing back to
your normal printer).
Once the default printer is set to fax:
1. Follow the
instructions for printing the data you want to fax. Instead of being
printed, it will be sent out as a fax. When the Compose New Fax window
come up follow the rest of these steps:
2. Type in
the name of the recipient and their fax number and click Next.
3. Select
your cover page or choose No if you don't want one. Click Next.
4. Enter a
subject and note if you like (not necessary). Click Next.
5. Click Finish.
Your fax will now be sent provided your modem is set up correctly.
