Annotating a Graph
You may wish to label certain parts of a graph for clarity of understanding. In TestPro® this process is referred to as annotating.
Begin Annotating the graph

         1. Click the Annotate button. A toolbar will appear on the graph.

NOTE: while you are in annotate mode all other TestPro® features and functions are disabled until you click the Done button at the left, below the graph.

Adding an Arrow

         1. Click the arrow button on the Annotate toolbar.

         2.   Move the mouse pointer (which should appear as cross hairs) to the position where you want the tail of the arrow to start.

         3.   Click and hold the left mouse button while dragging the mouse to the position where you want the head of the arrow. Release the button.

Adding a "CHANGE ORIFICE" Label

               1. Click the CHA ORIF button on the Annotate toolbar.

               2.   A label will appear with the words CHANGE ORIFICE. There should be a grey border around the label. If not, point the mouse at the label and click and release the left mouse button.

               3.   Position the mouse over the grey border (but not on one of the six small white squares) so that a 4-headed arrow appears at the head of the cursor.

               4.   Click and hold the left mouse button while dragging the label to the desired position. Release the button.

Adding Your Own Text

         1. Click the ABC button on the Annotate toolbar.

         2.   Type the text you want displayed in the label.

         3.   Position the mouse over the grey border around the label (but not on one of the six small white squares) so that a 4-headed arrow appears at the end of the mouse pointer.

         4.   Click and hold the left mouse button while dragging the label to the desired position. Release the button.

Moving an Existing Label

         1. Point the mouse at the label and click and release the left mouse button. A grey border should appear around the label.

         2.   Position the mouse over the grey border around the label (but not on one of the six small white squares) so that a 4-headed arrow appears at the end of the mouse pointer.

         3.   Click and hold the left mouse button while dragging the label to the desired position. Release the button.

NOTE about positioning labels: As the graph grows with additional data points, the features of the graph that you are annotating will move to the left. The left edge of the label will stay aligned with the graph as it grows. For this reason it is recommended that you align the left edge of your label with the arrow and/or feature you are attempting to label.

Editing a Label

         1. Point the mouse at the part of the text you want to edit in the label.

         2.   Click the left mouse button.

         3.   Make the desired changes.

Deleting an Arrow or Label

         1. Point the mouse at the arrow or label you want to delete.

         2.   Click the left mouse button.

         3.   For deleting a label only: Position the mouse over the grey border around the label (but not one of the six small white squares) so that a 4-headed arrow appears at the end of the mouse pointer and click the left mouse button.

         4.   Press the delete key on the keyboard.

Leave Annotate Mode

               1. Click the Done button on the left below the graph.
