Cut, copy and paste commands allow you to delete, move or duplicate data. These commands are accessed as follows:
On the keyboard
CUT - Ctrl X (i.e. while holding the Ctrl key down press the X key)
COPY - Ctrl C (i.e. while holding the Ctrl key down press the C key)
PASTE - Ctrl V (i.e. while holding the Ctrl key down press the V key)
or
From the menu
1. Click Edit in the menu.
2. Click Cut, Copy or Paste.
Deleting Data
1. Select the cell (or block - group of cells) you want to delete.
2. Cut (Hold the Ctrl key and press X).
Moving Data
1. Select the cell (or block - group of cells) you want to move.
2. Cut (Hold the Ctrl key and press X).
3. Select
the destination cell (for a group of cells just select the upper left
cell in the destination block).
4. Paste (Hold the Ctrl key and press V).
Copying Data
1. Select the cell (or block - group of cells) you want to copy.
2. Copy (Hold the Ctrl key and press C).
3. Select
the destination cell (for a group of cells just select the upper left
cell in the destination block).
4. Paste (Hold the Ctrl key and press V).
