Only the light grey areas on the Fluid Data page allow user input. The
dark grey areas on the Fluid Data page are calculated fields and don't
allow user input.

Date and Time
Entry of Date and Time is the same as with the Pressure Data page.
Fluid Values
All fluid values are entered as cumulative values. The first time you
enter a value for either oil or water you will be asked which tank it
is flowing to:
The default tank (tank#1) is a vertical tank with a calibration factor of 0.0073 m3/mm.
If you are using a tank that matches these specifications:
1. When the Choose Tank Number box comes up click OK.
Otherwise:
1. When the Choose Tank Number box comes up click Add New Tank.
2. Click
the type of tank you are using and enter the required parameters.
3. Click OK.
O.P.G.A. – The First Value on Every Page
Fluid production is recorded cumulatively. TestPro® calculates volumes
based on the difference between each entry and the one before it.
Replace O.P.G.A. (at the beginning of each fluid page) with the opening
gauge value for that page:
On the first page of fluid data, replace O.P.G.A. with the reading on
the tank before the test started. If the tank was empty this value is
zero.
On the remaining pages: If no change in tank volume has occurred since
the last reading on the previous page, then simply replace O.P.G.A.
with this reading. Otherwise enter the new opening gauge reading.
Note: The first value entered on a page for each column is taken as the
opening gauge value regardless of where on the page it is entered.
Shipping
When fluid is shipped from a tank, enter this quantity in the
appropriate shipping column (either the oil/condensate column or the
water column). TestPro® takes this shipped value into account when the
next tank reading is entered (i.e. it is not necessary to enter the new
gauge value directly after shipping).
Note: Shipping values entered before opening gauge are permitted but
are not relevant to calculations (and will not appear in the Totals
section for that page).
Refractive Index
Simply type the percentage in this column. The "%" sign is added automatically.
Fluid Tanks/Meters – Changing, Adding, Deleting
The tank number(s) used for oil/cond and water are displayed on the far
right of each page in the section labeled Page Summary. There are three
types of changes you can make concerning a tank or a flow meter:
* You can change the number of the tank used for data on a particular page.
* You can change the properties of a particular tank or delete it altogether.
* You can add a new tank.
Changing Tank Number for a Given Page
Fluid volumes on each page (for either of oil/cond or water) are
calculated based on the properties of a particular tank or flow meter.
The number of the particular tank is displayed at the far right of the
page in the section labeled Page Summary. The tank number for
oil/condensate is displayed separately from that for water.
You can change the tank number (on which calculations are based) for each page:
1. Select a cell on the desired page.
2. Click the Choose Tank button.
3. Choose between Oil (or Condensate) and Water.
4. Click the box that displays the tank
numbers and click the desired tank number. Or click the Add New Tank
button and set up the tank as required.
5. Click OK.
Changing Tank Properties (or Deleting a Tank)
To change the properties of an existing tank:
1. Click Tank Specs.
2. Click the field that shows the tank numbers and click the desired tank number.
3. Click Change or Delete (You can only delete a tank if it is not used on any of the pages).
4. Change the specifications of the tank as desired and click OK.
Adding a New Tank
1. Click Tank Specs.
2. Click Add.
3. Choose the type of tank and enter the necessary parameters. Make a note of the tank number.
4. Click OK.
The tank will now appear in the list of available tanks when you choose a tank for a particular page of fluid data.
Page Summary
Each page of fluid data has a summary section (on the far right) that
gives important information for that page. Following is an explanation
of the values displayed:
OPENING GAUGE - The volume (m3) calculated from the first gauge reading
on the page. This is the volume of fluid in the tank at the start of
the page before any fluid production is registered.
PRODUCTION - The volume (m3) of fluid produced for the page.
TOTAL - The sum of OPENING GAUGE and PRODUCTION volumes (m3).
LESS: SHIPPING - The total volume (m3) shipped for the page.
REMAINING ON HAND - The volume of fluid left in the tank at at this
point in the test (m3) - includes the data from the current page.
CUM. PRODUCTION - The cumulative total volume (m3) produced from the
beginning of the test and including production from the current page.
Remarks
Remarks for each fluid page are entered at the bottom of the page where it says Remarks: .
